INTA use KAM-500 for flight test and operation of the HADA

The Program
The Spanish Aerospace Agency, INTA, created a stable and flexible data acquisition system that can be used on all of their UAV programs for both flight testing and operations.
The System
To obtain real-time flight dynamics, engine performance and structural conditions, INTA’s vehicles are instrumented with an ACRA CONTROL KAM-500 DAU connected to a variety of sensors. On the HADA family, a network switch provides the communication backbone for the DAU to interface with the flight control system.
The Results
- Reduction in Data Acquisition System weight by 30%
