The Program
Cassidian’s Barracuda technology demonstrator UAV, flight tests advanced technologies in realistic conditions
The System
In order to monitor the aircraft itself, the sense and avoid capabilities, the auto taxi systems and the automatic target recognition system during flight and ground testing, the Barracuda was instrumented with two KAM-500 data acquisition units (DAUs), equipped with COTS modules used to monitor various avionics busses and analog sensors, in a master slave configuration.
The Results
