Program management is typically required when a complex system is being proposed (e.g. a large network of distributed KAM-500 systems) or if an order contains items for which development effort is required. Thus, for such orders, program management will be proposed.
Other situations requiring Program Management include contracts that demand above normal qualification testing, or if stringent programmatics are required, such as:
• Customer approved documentation
• System design reviews
• Customer acceptance testing
ACRA CONTROL uses formal program planning and control techniques in accordance with industry-standard best practices to minimize the technical, schedule and economic risk of the program by introducing phases and milestones. This will enable the progress of the project to be controlled with respect to cost schedule and technical objectives.
The customer support group follow well-proven procedures in carrying out the task of program management, from customer requirements review, through development and execution of a program plan, conduction of progress meetings, activation and progression of non-recurring engineering, completion of supplier documentation requirements list (SDRL), to definition and execution of acceptance test procedure (ATP) and provision of customer training and commissioning assistance where required.
