Space

ACRA CONTROL’s data acquisition hardware can be used for space telemetry and telecommand applications for on-board data handling or as a payload interface unit. Because they are radiation tolerant, the RAD hard electronics can withstand the extreme environmental conditions encountered in space. Our rugged data acquisition units have earned a Technology Readiness Level of 9 for launcher applications on the NASA/ESA TRL scale through their operational flight heritage and extensive environmental qualifications. ACRA CONTROL offers advanced PCI hardware technology and has the highest performance bit synchronizers in its class with advanced Smart Source Selector technology that yields significant SNR gains. A two channel product performs 3dB better than theory and an eight channel product is in development. Other developments include CCSDS and Vertibi protocol telemetry handling.
