What is an Airborne Recorder
An airborne recorder captures data collected by a data acquisition system during a flight. A recorder might capture only a subset of the collected data – for example, a dedicated video recorder. Airborne recorders are generally designed to operate in harsh environments and typically utilize removable storage media such as a solid state drive.
