The KAD/ETH/101 is a full-duplex, fast Ethernet (100Mbps) module supporting both IPv4 and IENA protocols. It can be used to transmit acquired data and to program a KAM-500 system. In program mode, programming information is extracted from received packets and transferred to any module in any chassis of the KAM-500 system using the standard KAM-500 programming interface. In acquisition mode, data is inserted into user-defined packet structures (unicast, multicast or broadcast) and transmitted via UDP. Multiple simultaneous packet structures are supported. For each packet, the size, packet identifier and destination IP addresses can be specified. Users can also specify the IP address for the module.
