David Doyle - BSc Eng. M.Eng, Team Manager
I have been with ACRA CONTROL for 15 years, five of which I have been lucky enough to lead the support team. The most challenging and rewarding part of my job is channeling the individual talents of the team so that ACRA CONTROL maintains its reputation of being the best for support in the business.
Vincent Duperrey - Electrical Engineer
Having worked for ACRA CONTROL for almost 15 years I have a very good knowledge of all ACRA CONTROL products. For the last 5 years I have also been working on the KAM-500 compiler software giving me a chance to dig into low level software languages such as C and C++ . In addition to programming languages, I speak English and French.
Ruben Canizares - MEng, H.Dip.AppSc
Due to the continuously evolving nature of ACRA CONTROL hardware and software, even after supporting ACRA CONTROL customers for almost 7 years, I'm still learning new things every day. Though my specialties are GS Works 7 and Networks, I can support all products in multiple languages such as Spanish, English and basic French.
Michael Doherty – MSc CEng, Program Manager
Prior to joining ACRA CONTROL in 2005 I worked for Bombardier Aerospace Belfast for nearly 20 years in the Test Instrumentation Group (flight test, ground test, and vibration testing) where I managed various flight test and operational loads measurement programs for numerous aircraft platforms. At ACRA CONTROL I am a Programs Manager and am responsible for ensuring that key customer orders are delivered on time.
Juan Martinez - M.Eng.
For more than half of my 10 year career in the aerospace industry I have been dedicated to supporting ACRA CONTROL customers. Though I support all ACRA CONTROL products, I've become a key contact for ground station and digital signal processing issues. I too am multilingual and often get called in to support Spanish speaking customers.
Colin Mills - B.Eng
Four years with the ACRA CONTROL support department has taught me to constantly learn and adapt to changing customer requirements. I take particular pride in the frontline support of customers and representatives. On a personal level, a major talent of mine is that I'm the only ACRA CONTROL employee whose sneeze can be heard in the Dublin and Maryland offices at the same time without the use of a phone.
Hyong Yi - M.Eng.
If you are based in the US and need ACRA CONTROL support, I’m your man. I have spent the last three years supporting ACRA CONTROL's biggest US customers on some of the most challenging FTI programs in the industry. As a certified engineer and an experienced instrumentation and application engineer, I’m usually called in to do the heavy lifting. Though it rarely comes in handy in this position, I can speak also Korean.
John Branagan - B.Eng, BSc, PgD
Over the last two years with ACRA CONTROL I have spent a lot of time on helping customers with returns and working on our new software, DAS Studio 3. If I'm not in the office or out visiting at a customer site, you can find me clay shooting or reliving my early years as a musician.
Patrick Quinn - B.Eng, BSc
My first five years with ACRA were spent in the Design Verification Department where I gained a very in-depth knowledge of ACRA's Hardware and Software, over the past 6 months in Applications I have been trying to put this knowledge to good use in more customer related "Real World" applications. I am multi-lingual, being "fluent" in English, C# and Python. Though my specialities are bus monitors, networks and SNMP, I am something of a jack of all trades when it comes other modules types.
Dennis Zaferis - Instrumentation /Test Design Engineer
With almost 25 years in the flight test instrumentation industry and 12 years working with both ACRA CONTROL products and people I jumped at the chance to join the company in 2010 as an applications engineer. I have an extensive background in system design, architecture and telemetry systems including encryption and transmission. I am a certified system trainer and perform onsite customer training and support.
Jim Peterson - Trainer, Generalist
I have been in the electronics industry for over 20 years and in flight test instrumentation for seven, two of which have been with ACRA CONTROL. If you request GS Works 7 or KAM-500 training, I will probably show up with my trainer hat on, but really I’m a jack of all ACRA CONTROL products.

Having joined ACRA CONTROL this year I spend most of my time learning about the technology. With five years of applications engineering under my belt I'm looking forward to getting in the field to support some of the best customers the aerospace industry has to offer. Though my education and training has often been software centric it's been very interesting getting to work with and learn about ACRA CONTROL's innovative hardware solutions.
