Open Standards Philosophy
ACRA CONTROL embraces open standards and protocols for file storage and for system synchronization, management and configuration. The use of SATA, CF and PCAP ensures immediate open access to data with a huge user-base for support and services. ACRA CONTROL also uses standard networking protocols such as the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), IEEE 1588 PTP and the Trivial File Transfer Protocol (TFTP). XidML, an XML metadata standard, that provides a vendor-neutral hardware configuration platform that describes how data is acquired, processed and packaged for transmission, storage or reproduction. ACRA CONTROL’s open standards philosophy facilitates device interoperability, Ethernet compliance and frees the end user from proprietary hardware and software products.
